Criminal Division

The division creates and maintains records on all criminal cases heard in Circuit Court.

Criminal fines may be paid using cash, personal check, money order, and debit or credit card (VISA and MasterCard only). Any credit or debit payment, whether in person, online, or over the phone, will be subject to an additional 4% fee. Online payments are accepted through the Supreme Court of Virginia's Online Payment System.    
  • Payments are accepted in person, by telephone, online or by mail.
  • If payment is made by mail, please include defendant's full name and case number. If you would like a receipt, please send a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope with your payment to:

Court Fines and Costs that are not on a court-ordered deferral are eligible for a monthly Payment Plan, as outlined in our Due Date Policy. Defendants may also apply for satisfaction of Fines and Costs via Community Service Hours in Lieu of Fines and Costs or Community Service Hours while Incarcerated.
