Lisa Rayne was promoted to Finance Director, effective Apr. 1, 2021. Since Nov. 2020, Rayne has served as the Interim Financial Services Director. Prior to that, she held the position of Assistant Finance Director for the County.
Before joining Montgomery County in 2014, Rayne held the position of Controller at Virginia Tech Services, Inc. Graduating from Virginia Tech in 1991 with a degree in accounting, Rayne has over 29 years accounting and finance experience and is a Certified Public Accountant.
"We are very pleased to welcome Lisa into her new role. During her seven-year tenure with the county, Lisa’s vast knowledge, dedicated work ethic and positive attitude have made a tremendous impact," said Angie Hill, Assistant County Administrator and Chief Financial Officer.
The county will conduct a search for an Assistant Finance Director.
