2023 General Reassessment of Real Estate
Learn More
As required by law, all property has been assessed at fair market value, and every effort has been made to do so on a fair and equitable basis. However, if you believe that the assessed value shown for 2019 is higher or lower than the present market value
of your property, or the assessed value is not uniform with similar properties, you may appeal.
Note: The percentage increase or decrease in your assessed value does not automatically mean the same percentage increase or decrease in your taxes. The Board of Supervisors and Town Councils will establish tax rates to be applied to this assessed value
during the upcoming budget process.
By law, all property must be reassessed at fair market value.
