Crime Prevention
Crime prevention provides community policing and educational
programs. Crime prevention specialists work with individuals, schools, and businesses to provide tips for keeping their homes or facilities safe and conduct security surveys upon request. Contact Crime Prevention via email.
School Resource Officers teach both D.A.R.E. and Virginia Rules programs in the schools and assist with school security assessments and emergency planning. In addition, our SRO's sponsor YOVASO and Help Save the Next Girl chapters within their school. The golf cart DUI/distracted driving program educates student drivers about the dangers of drinking and distracted driving.
