Budget Process Overview
The County Administration and the Office of Management and Budget lead a long and detailed process to create the county’s annual operating budget. This work involves close coordination with the County Administrator, the School Superintendent, county
leaders, outside agencies, the School Board, and the Board of Supervisors. The budget process starts when the County Administrator recommends a proposed budget and ends when the Board of Supervisors reviews, adjusts, and approves the final version.
