Notice is hereby given, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery, Virginia that the Board of Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing for Monday, January 26, 2026 at 7:15 pm or as soon thereafter, at the Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to receive citizen comments on the Board of Supervisors intent to adopt a resolution amending the FY 2025-2026 budget by more than one percent of the total expenditures shown in the currently adopted budget by appropriating the Christiansburg High School Capital Bond Interest proceeds in the amount of $5,095,650 to the Montgomery County Public School Capital Improvement Budget and any additional county general appropriations, as needed, not to exceed $1,000,000.
